H1N1 Pandemic Plan

Abstract:apetito Canada has developed its business continuity plan.

As the winter flu season approaches, apetito has developed a plan which will be implemented should the H1N1 global pandemic appear to have the potential to severley impact day to day operations.

"It is possible that apetito, our staff and our customers could be touched to some extent by the global pandemic", says Sue Fraser, Technical Manager at apetito Canada.

"We have examined every aspect of our business from how we deal with suppliers through to how we continue to provide food to our customers in difficult circumstances.", she says.

The plan published today has some aspects which have already been implemented while other aspects will be activated depending on the severity of the situation.

"We aim to give reassurance to all stakeholders that apetito can be relied upon should a crisis develop", explained Jack Book, Executive Vice President of Operations.
