apetito staff paddle for charity

On Saturday May 23rd, a team from apetito took part in their first ever dragon boat races at Kelso Park in Milton.   Races were over 250 and 500 metres and overall, the team was placed 5th.

The event was a fund-raiser for the Willow Foundation, a local charity which enhances quality of life for seniors and disabled adults in Halton region.

Team members included Keith Grafton, Sue Fraser, Sandy Cardinal, Jack Book,  Pam Caswell, Amber Capotosto, Erica Green, Richard Woodward, Lindsay Franklin, Lisa Forbes, Don MacMullen and Nigel Richards.

Team organizer Amber Capotosto said, “It was truly a great day to have such enthusiastic paddlers and an exciting team!”
