Private Recipes becomes apetito

apetito is the new name for Private Recipes.

Private Recipes, founded in 1987 in Brampton, Ontario joined the apetito group in the spring of 2007.  The apetito group with its head office located in Germany, is one of the largest suppliers of meals in the healthcare and homecare markets in Germany, the United Kingdom, Netherlands and France.

Since joining the apetito group, Private Recipes has introduced two new innovative products to the Canadian market: the apetito chefmobil, a revolutionary hot meal delivery system for the meals on wheels delivery service and a cook/freeze system that will assist both acute care and long term care facilities to provide great tasting, nutritious food.

After doing business under the Private Recipes name for more than twenty years, the company will change its name to apetito on July 1st, 2008.  They will continue to produce nutritious frozen foods from their federally inspected facility in Brampton, Ontario and to service their many valued customers across Canada.
